The Celtic
Cross Reading- it's
a time-honored classic. Based on your question, thought-provoking,
insightful, an excellent choice.

Hello to all!
I hope you all are having as beautiful a day as I'm enjoying here! Spring has
finally arrived in Southern Michigan, and the world is turning green again! I
feel compelled to sit in the sun and soak up the rays, I can almost feel the
golden energy enter my bloodstream and chase away the winter doldrums.
For my "fun factoids" portion of this month's mailing I'd like to
discuss getting in touch with your "inner voice". Many people ask me
about being psychic. That isn't something I consider myself. However, I think
that all of us have an ability to be intuitive, it's just a question of opening
up to it. Many times we get messages, signals, which we ignore. For me, I made a
choice to begin to listen to these, and I found that the more I opened up, the
more messages I received. The more I listen to my inner voice, the more often I
acknowledge it, the more it tells me. This doesn't mean I always obey the voice,
<grin> but I at least listen to it.
For example, last fall my husband insisted our ancient vehicle was capable of
going on vacation and back. A thought occurred "it will make it there, but
it won't make it back…" I believe these kinds of thoughts appear to most
people, and, like most people, I ignored it--- until the moment when we were
stranded at the roadside with our poor car shuddering and smoking.
I should have paid more heed to my intuition, but I didn't want to be an
alarmist, and if I'd told my husband with a faraway look in my eye, "I have
a feeling that we will not make it home…." I doubt if he would have
believed me. BUT, I could have done some things to make it easier if my
intuition DID turn out to hold water- making sure there were snacks and
activities for the kids if we got stranded, and that the cell phone had a strong
charge, etc. So, I'm not saying you have to obey all your intuitive messages,
but you might want to think about what you would do if they happened to be
correct.
Too often we pooh-pooh our intuition as silly. Try not to make those kinds of
judgments, just accept the information your soul tells you. Open yourself up to
your inner voice, hear what it has to say. You might even want to write things
down in a notebook as they occur to you, and then check back to see if time
proves you right or wrong. The more you flex your intuition and tune into it,
the stronger it will become. But take it slowly, and use common sense caution.
Now, some Tarot news, first the Tarot mailing list. On the first of the month
you've been getting a form letter with a password to regulate your use of this
list. This was a new program my internet provider set-up, and I HATE it. So, I
am returning to my original low-tech system, ignore any passwords you got, and
we're back to this: If you'd like to unsubscribe, send an email to pesky@atasteoftarot.com
and I'll oblige. Be sure to include the email address that you registered under.
I'm sorry for any hassle this has caused.
How about the fun stuff? In honor of spring, and the feelings of love it seems
to inspire, I will give away a free love Analysis Reading, and $18.00 value.
Want to win it? This is how to enter. Send your email address to pesky@atasteoftarot.com,
with "Tarot drawing" in the subject line. (One entry per person is
sufficient.) I'll choose one winners in a random drawing on Tuesday, May 8,
2001. (Details about the Love Analysis reading can be found
here )
In the meantime, are you feeling in the need of a read??? Purchase a reading
at and let's see what stories the cards tell me about you!
Until next month, wishing you sunny days and moony-bright nights, and lots of
happiness,
Pesky
P.S. Another good thing about springtime is kittens, and out family has a new
one. Our Tomcat, Trouble, died about a month ago, and we've added Nigel
Toughnails to out household. (To see him in all his furry fabulousness,
click here ) We are all
tremendously amused by his charms. Isn't every little thing kittens and babies
do absolutely enchanting?
