The cards are about
life-affirmation. And the most important fact? WE are in
control of our destiny and the cards remind us of that fact!

My Reading Process--
I, as diviner, shuffle the deck,
asking your question or question. I concentrate, I lay out the cards,
look at them, and they tell me a story. I got through the basics of this
story in my overview section, then I focus on each card and its
meaning within the layout. When I send you your reading via email, I will
send links so you can view the cards from your reading
Tarot isn't, or at least shouldn't, be a passive art. You
don't just sit and absorb what I tell you; it's up to you to take the
information from the cards and examine your life, see where it fits.
Learn from the warnings, and from the advice and run with it.
The cards engage you, and let you expand your
thoughts, to see another side. And the
wonderful thing about it is, none of it is set in stone. The
Tarot doesn't create a future for you, instead, it just reflects possibilities. In this
way, the Tarot is empowering. The cards
give you a clue, and it's up to you what you do with that clue.
Whether you come to the cards seeking guidance,
a life overview, or just because you've always been curious- those
are all great reasons. Tarot readings
are life-affirming, a great organizational tool, a just plain fun! But more than just fun, Tarot is tremendously helpful. When feeling overwhelmed, a reading can give encouragement.
A reading lets you light up the dark corners of your mind.
Many people expect a Tarot reading to be "scary" but I've had
clients who were blown away by how NOT scary they are.. One of my
favorite stories was a friend who was particularly torn about getting a
reading. She wanted to try it, she knew how NOT scary I am (I mean,
I drive a mini-van, for God's sake! <grin>)....she finally decided
to do it. I'll never forget her face when we finished, she was
aglow. She said, "That was so benign! I feel so
affirmed." I just hugged her in lieu of saying, "I told
you so". <grin>

...that story is affected by whether the card is upside down, right side
up, or what other cards it is grouped with. The twenty two Major Arcana
Cards present the strongest messages and images, and have the most to tell us.
