Magical Herb Lore!
Some old
tales about herbs and love. (No guarantees... <grin>)
Or, for love advice, The
Love Reading
Women
should offer
the object of their
affection a sprig of basil.
If it's accepted, love is
assured. Men should
approach the woman
of their choice
with a sprig of sage
under their tongue. |
To
ensure fidelity,
dig up the soil from
a spot where your
lover has walked.
Put the soil in a pot,
and plant Marigolds
in it. Love will not
be restless.
|
You'll
dream of
your true love if
you sleep with
yarrow under your
pillow. Tie three
laurel leaves to
the foot of your bed,
and your love will
focus only on you. |

To Grow Love
Mix Heartsease (Johnny Jump-up's) with a piece of your loved
one's hair, and the ashes from a burned piece of clothing or
picture of the loved one. Bundle it all in a fine
white handkerchief, and bury it in the east corner of your yard,
or the east corner of your porch, on the new moon phase.
As the moon waxes, watch your love grow. |
